The United States has administered 167,187,795 doses of COVID-19
vaccines in the country as of Monday morning and distributed
207,891,395 doses, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention said.
The tally is for Moderna, Pfizer/BioNTech,
and Johnson & Johnson s vaccines as of 6:00
a.m. ET on Monday, the agency said.
According to the tally posted on April 4, the agency had
administered 165,053,746 doses of the vaccines, and distributed
207,891,295 doses.
The agency said 107,515,428 people had received at least one
dose while 62,392,065 people are fully vaccinated as of Monday.
A total of 7,743,373 vaccine doses have been administered in
long-term care facilities, the agency said.

Oregon Humane Society (OHS) has announced a groundbreaking to improve the lives of vulnerable animals and further support under-resourced pet owners in Oregon. The project, which is made possible in part thanks to a total of $1.75 million in grant funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), includes the construction of two new innovative facilities to better support the future of animal welfare in Oregon. The New Road Ahead is the most ambitious expansion of OHS programs and services in its 153-year history.
The New Road Ahead includes the construction of two new buildings next to OHS’s Ernest C. Swigert Animal Shelter. The facilities will house a Behavior Rehabilitation and Rescue Center, Animal Crimes Forensic Center, and a Community Teaching Hospital. The project is scheduled to break ground in June 2021 and be completed by July 2022. The fundraising goal for the New Road Ahead is $36 million. M

After jousting at the castle, I drove my mom, daughter and granddaughter to visit a big fan of the show, Meena, at her jewelry shop on Hillcroft! We ate eggless chocolate cake, drank yummy Indian chia tea and looked at beautiful diamonds we could only dream about! What a fun day!
